Ashley's Baptism

Today is the day that Ashley has been waiting for a long time. Well it has actually only been two months but for her it has seemed forever. Joshua and Ashley became friends during the seventh grade. During the last two years Ashley has watched him and our family and one day announced she wanted to be baptized. We explained that she needed to come to church and have the missionary discussions first. So here we are at the long awaited day. John performed the baptism and will do the confirmation tomorrow. He has been her Sunday School teacher and that is who she chose to have perform this sacred ordinance. It was a lovely afternoon.

The kitten who is looking for a home

Scott is a magnet for abandoned kittens. This is the second one we have "found" a home for. Both of them were brought to our house with the assurance that a home would be found for them. Sure enough he found one-MINE. Scott chose Simon for this kitten that is not staying.

Cival War Ball Reenactment

While my parents were here for my graduation we went to a Civil War Ball reenactment. It was loads of fun. We can not wait for the New Year's Eve event.

Merrile's Master Degree Graduation

May 28th arrived a lot faster than I thought it would. After two years of waiting it was over and done with much quicker than the last two years went. I am so grateful to family and friends who made this day possible. I could not have achieved my goal if it was not for wonderful children and the best husband in the world.
